Vinay is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a Diploma in Information Securities Audit from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has over a decade of experience in Financial Management, Risk Management, Logical Access Reviews, Business Continuity Planning Off-shore operations set up and Quality management.

He started his career as a Finance Manager in a Network Integration Company where he streamlined the project processing and costs management and improved significantly the MIS reporting to management. He was involved in the project report and funding of a mega project.

He then moved into the Risk Function with Standard Chartered Bank Scope International. In this role he pioneered the Risk Management function and enabled process migration of high risk and complex activities migration to India, he led the implementation of 6S in his department, Design and Implemented a Capacity Management tool, developed an emailing tool for which he was awarded a coveted award from the CEO of Scope International and this was rolled out across various locations in SCB and implemented / developed various Operational Risk Indicators .

He then moved on to be the Senior Manager Operations Control for the Asia-Pacific region in RBC Investor Services. He was involved in successfully setting up the Operations Control function across APAC, implementing a Quality+ program across APAC which focused on Quality Metrics and the “ART” Model and centralizing the Reconciliation function across APAC to Malaysia.

He specializes in Risk Based Audit approach and provides deep insights to the management in setting up of a strong function. He has serviced clients across various industries including Banking & Financial Services, BPO, KPO, Manufacturing and Retail segments.
